Ambassadors Program

In January 2003, the City had a need for a volunteer group to support the Community Services Department (CSD). An organizational meeting was held mid January which culminated in CSD Ambassadors. By the end of the first quarter, the Ambassadors had recruited almost 30 volunteers and conducted the first orientation and training sessions. Our work began at the Naples Preserve.

At the present we have Ambassadors serving the Naples Preserve, The Norris Center, River Park Community Center and the City Manager's office. There are approximately 35 Ambassador volunteers who contributed over 3,300 hours in 2005. The work of the Ambassadors is worthwhile, fun and educational. Bring your interests and your experiences to the Ambassador program. Ambassadors bring a broad range of skills to the program. However, orientation and training is provided as needed.
